My training in marriage and family therapy has provided me with a solid foundation in counseling. I primarily conduct therapy from a model that is strength-based, systematic, and brief. My therapeutic process integrates a variety of perspectives – including, but not limited to – developmental, cultural, spiritual, and contextual life experiences. I am a trauma-informed therapist and often utilize techniques to deepen somatic awareness and strengthen mindfulness.
Compassion and respect are fundamental to my interaction with clients. I am dedicated to empowering families, couples, and individuals to strengthen their relationships, resolve troubling issues, and achieve personal well-being.
Additionally, my practice is strongly committed to gender equality and values the experience of women, men and children. I am committed to creating a safe environment that respects diverse backgrounds, family forms, and experiences. I do not discriminate or refuse services to anyone on the basis of age, culture, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, disability, race, religion, or sexual orientation.
